H&H fall at the first at AEGON International
Hutchins and Huss crash out in Nottingham…
No.2 seeds Ross Hutchins and Stephen Huss suffered a shock defeat to Sergey Bubka and Alexandre Kudryatsev in the first round of the AEGON International at the Nottingham Tennis Centre.
The Brit-Aussie pair, playing their first match on grass in 2009, went down 6-3 2-6 10-8 to the Ukrainian-Russian duo, despite leading 7-4 in the tie-break.
Their attention now turns to next week’s AEGON Championships at Queen’s Club, London as they gear up for Wimbledon in three weeks’ time.
