Hutchins-Huss to take on Americans
Duo seeded second in Indianapolis…
Ross Hutchins and Stephen Huss return to competitive action in Indianapolis this week.
The British-Aussie team are second seeds at the Indianapolis Tennis Championships and play their first round match on Wednesday.
They have been drawn to play American duo Kevin Kim, currently ranked a lowly 923 in the doubles world rankings, and world No.62 Bobby Reynolds.
The bottom half of the draw has already opened up nicely after third seeds Eric Butorac and Scott Lipsky crashed out in round one.
Top seeds at the $450,000 ATP 250 event are Ashley Fisher and Jordan Kerr.
Hutchins and Huss occupy 31st spot in the ATP doubles team rankings and Hutchins currently stands at a career-high individual listing of No.31.
The Indianapolis event is one of six North American tournaments Hutchins is playing in the run-up to the US Open.
He moves on to the LA Open, Legg Mason Classic, Rogers Cup, Western & Southern Financial Group Masters and the Pilot Pen Championships before arriving at Flushing Meadows in late August for the final Grand Slam of the year.
