The Anglo-Aussie pair are ranked No.4 in California

Ross Hutchins and Stephen Huss face Yen-Hsun Lu and Dusan Vemic in the first round of the LA Tennis Open, which kicks off today.

The Anglo-Aussie duo are the No.4 seeds for the ATP World Tour 250 event, with top seeds the Bryan brothers in the other half of the draw.

33-year-old Serbian Vemic, world No.44 in doubles, claimed five ATP Challenger titles in 2008 and reached a career-high No.31 doubles ranking in January this year.

Lu of Chinese Taipei has one ATP doubles title to his name – the 2005 Chennai Open title, won with Rainer Schuettler. Since then the 25-year-old has primarily focused on singles and is currently No.63 in the world.

The pair have not played together before on the ATP Tour – nothing new to Vemic, who is famed for playing with a variety of doubles partners during a season.

The match is scheduled to be played on Tuesday, giving the Serbian time to playing in the singles qualifying draw on Monday against Josselin Ouanna.
