Rosco relaxes with LA Play-date
The British No.1 receives an invitation from Hugh Hefner…
The American hard court season can be a grueling slog for many players, with tournaments coming up so thick and fast each week that there are few chances to enjoy much downtime.
But Ross Hutchins got the chance to get away from it all in Los Angeles on Wednesday after receiving an exclusive invitation on Wednesday – from one H. Hefner.
Rosco joined American players Jesse Levine, Robert Kendrick and Ryan Sweeting for a tour of the infamous Playboy Mansion lead by Alison Waite.

The Playmate gave the players a personal tour, providing historical information about the Mansion and Hugh Hefner while escorting them around the lavish 5.3 acre estate.
As well as visiting the garden and the tennis courts on the grounds, the players were photographed with birds in the zoo, and tried out the pinball machine in the lavish games room.
However, the famous grotto fascinated the boys, who asked Waite for any stories she had of what went on there, before concluding the visit with a photo in front of the Playboy Mansion.
Levine, who played Tommy Haas in the singles draw later that day, tweeted on Tuesday: “Pretty pumped for my night match tomorrow night @latennisopen vs Haas. But also pumped for playboy mansion!!!”
“It was a lot of fun to see a place we often get to watch on TV,” said the 21-year-old American. “It was a really nice opportunity for us tennis players. It’s not like people get to check out the Playboy Mansion everyday, so it was a fun activity.”
Rosco’s next stop with partner Stephen Huss on the US Open Series tour takes him to Washington for the Legg Mason Tennis Classic next week, with a strong doubles field already taking shape.
World No.1 pair the Bryan brothers headline the draw, along with the likes of Lukasz Kubot & Oliver Marach, Max Mirnyi & Andy Ram, and Polish pair Mariusz Fyrstenberg Marcin Matkowski.
And Hutchins is clearly enjoying his time Stateside, with friends and family keeping his spirits high.
“Heading to Washington tomorrow,” he wrote on his twitter page this morning. “My Dad coming to see me, my girlfriend Lindsay coming to New York and with my sister here in LA!”
