Hutchins and Kerr face wildcards Bogdanovic and Slabinsky…
Ross Hutchins and Jordan Kerr will kick off their Wimbledon campaign with a first round showdown with British wildcards Alex Bogdanovic and Alexander Slabinsky.
After being overlooked for a ninth wildcard, 26-year-old left-hander Bogdanovic missed out on the main draw of the singles event after a marathon second round qualifying defeat to Nicolas Mahut, a match which ended 24-22 in the final set defeat.
Slabinsky, 24, made his Wimbledon debut alongside Chris Eaton in last year’s doubles draw, where they beat top-50-ranked duo Santiago Ventura and Marcel Granollers in their opening match before falling in the second round to experienced Czech team of Leos Friedl and David Skoch.
